CMC CranioSacral Therapy

About me

In sharing my story, it is my hope that others may find comfort, healing, and a renewed sense of well-being through the gentle touch of craniosacral therapy (CST).  In 2003 my life took an unexpected turn along a path that would ultimately lead me to a deeper understanding of the human body and its remarkable capacity for healing.

It all began with an emergency caesarean, in those early moments, the joy of welcoming my first child was overshadowed by her discomfort, restlessness, and latching struggles. I felt a sense of helplessness, unable to provide the comfort she clearly needed. CST emerged as our relief, offering us the support to find well-being in a new routine.

In 2005, after another emergency caesarean my second child was born, along with a new set of challenges. As time passed, the demands of school and its whirlwind of fast-paced learning and social interactions took its toll.  I’ve always marvelled at the power of CST, a gentle yet profoundly influential treatment. From their birth, CST freed my children from the constraints imposed by their early experiences. It relieved the aches and pains that followed dance and rugby injuries, eased the discomfort of orthodontic treatments, and alleviated the anxiety that can impact the school years of today’s children. Both now young adults, they seek out CST sessions, recognising its unique ability to restore their well-being.

Motivated by the transformation I witnessed in both my children, I embarked on my own journey to learn craniosacral therapy. Choosing to train with the Upledger Institute was an easy decision, as it sets the gold standard for CST education. I have undertaken hundreds of hours of in-person training, honing my hands-on skills, deepening my knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and fostering a deep appreciation for the importance of individual stories woven into the tissue of our bodies.

It would be a pleasure to introduce you to this healing technique, discovering the potential of self-healing, and in doing so, uniting your mind, body and spirit.
